  1. Type A:** Priority is given to the dependents and widows of CAPFs & AR personnel who were killed in action.
  2. Type B:** The next preference is for the dependents of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel who were disabled in action.
  3. Type C:** Preference is given to the dependents and widows of CAPFs & AR personnel who died during service due to causes related to Government duties.
  4. Type D:** Following this, preference is given to the dependents of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel who were disabled during their service due to reasons related to Government duties.
  5. Type E:** Preference is also given to the dependents of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel who have received gallantry awards.
  6. Type F:** Next in line are the dependents of Ex-CAPFs & AR personnel (Persons Below Officer Rank, PBOR).
  7. Type G:** Finally, preference is given to the dependents of serving CAPFs & AR personnel (PBOR), subject to the availability of scholarships.

This structured approach ensures that the most deserving candidates are prioritized for receiving the scholarship and Dependents of State Police personnel who died in Naxal or terrorist attacks will also be given priority.
